Bradford, United Kingdom Metalcraft Europe Ltd Full time

Metalcraft Europe Ltd is looking for an experienced purchase ledger clerk to join our team in a fast paced, busy office based in Bradford. This role is 100% office based, 38 hours per week.
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in using Sage Line 50 (essential)
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or errors
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- A good telephone manner
- Good communication skills

The job description will include the following, but will not be limited to:

- Processing a high volume of invoices on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments is essential
- Matching invoices to purchase orders
- Liaising with various departments and suppliers to resolve invoice or payment related queries
- Dealing with queries in a timely manner
- Reconciling monthly statements and accounts, resolving any discrepancies or issues in time for the monthly payment runs
- Any other ad-hoc duties that may be required

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Accounts payable: 1 year (preferred)
