Milk Education are currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching assistant to work in a primary school based in the BD6 area of Bradford.

The school educates children with PMLD, ASD, ADHD, communication and visual impairments and social and emotional difficulties. This means that you will have to be understanding and considerate of the individual learning journey of the pupils. Some of thework may be on a 1:1 basis or will be working with small groups.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;
- Have experience of working with SEND individuals supporting with special educational needs and disabilities.
- A qualification isn't necessarily required however, would be beneficial. Teaching assistant and SEND assistant qualifications are ideal.
- Have experience of working with pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
- Be a confident and proven classroom practitioner.
- Successful experience of managing pupils needs.
- Evidence of planning and delivering high quality learning opportunities for children in the areas of physical development, health and well-being.
- Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
- Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
