This post requires a modern History Teacher who has a commanding classroom presence. We want to see a History Teacher with the drive to maintain and raise the standards of students by adhering to their own high expectations and expected performance levels.You should have the capability to communicate well in class, such that your direction and aims are well understood by your class and your well-organised lessons achieve great results throughout the year.

To be successful within this History Teacher role, you will possess a dynamic and fun approach to teaching replacing rote learning with interactive and engaging student-led content.

As a History Teacher you will be teaching and working as a crucial part of the highly regarded Humanities faculty and you will be progressing your abilities through a range of training and development schemes. As a member of the Humanities Department itis expected that you will reach the high expectations of your department in terms of academic performance and exam results.

This school is always keen to create a supportive environment for new teachers, and an 'Outstanding' teacher will be on-hand to help you find your feet in your new role. Day-to-day, you will be teaching under the guidance of a highly-skilled Head of Humanitieswho will act as a mentor and example of 'Outstanding' practice.
