As a Band 5 - ODP, you will play a crucial role in the perioperative care of patients at our hospital. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation of the operating room, providing support to surgeons and anaesthetists during procedures, and monitoring patients post-operatively.

You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure are also essential qualities for this role.

During your shifts, you will be expected to adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including those relating to infection control and patient privacy. You will also need to maintain accurate records of your activities and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
