As a cook, you'll play an important role in ensuring that our residents have a high-quality dining experience that meets their nutritional needs. You'll take the time to get to know our residents and their families, so you can accommodate their personal preferences and make their dining experience as enjoyable as possible.

Joining our team means becoming part of our extended family. You'll work alongside other dedicated team members who share your passion for providing care, warmth, and kindness to all those who live and work in our home. To be considered for this role, you must have prior experience working in a professional kitchen, including catering for specialised diets and providing meals for large groups of people. Additionally, you must hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, as well as NVQ level 1/2 in catering and food safety level 2 & 3 qualifications.

**About you**

We are seeking a passionate individual with a genuine love for food and a talent for preparing and presenting dishes to the highest possible standard. As a cook, you'll engage with our elderly residents and take the time to understand their unique needs, while also being an active and valued member of our team. Your ability to work well under pressure, coupled with effective communication skills and a positive, enthusiastic demeanour, will be key to your success in this role.
