Your new company
Working in an exciting family run business out of Farnham, looking to build their IT department, you will be working to support all the staff's enquiries to make sure the business runs as smooth as possible.
With the use of high-end technology and hospital level equipment, the role is requiring an individual with a strong interest in IT to thrive in the business.
The company are keen to support the right applicant and would provide with them all the support and training needed.
Your new role
You will work as a 1st Line engineer, displaying excellent levels of customer service to support staff, assisting them with software and hardware issues. Working with a supportive, friendly team, reporting to the CFO, you will maintain the company's image bydisplaying a strong work ethic - getting the jobs done and proactively moving onto the next job.
- To support users remotely and make on-site visits for hardware installation and
- troubleshooting.
- To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to
- all service management principles.
- To take ownership of user problems and be pro-active when dealing with user issues.
- To log all issues in the ticket management software and follow through to satisfactory
- and timely completion.
- Support users in the use of computer equipment and software by providing basic
- training and advice.

What you'll need
- A keen interest in IT/Technology with the desire to work in the industry
- A willingness to learn and a flexible, pro-active approach to work.
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Google Workspace (Gsuite), Microsoft operating systems and fundamentals of networking.
- Strong understanding of PC hardware set-up and Operating System configuration
- Active Directory/Group Policy
- Ability to maintain high standards and represent the company's high standards
