We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join our outstanding Quality Management team, based on-site at one of the UK’s most prestigious Automotive Manufacturers.

**The opportunity**:
Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Team Leader, will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of between 5 - 10 Inspectors, which can increase during peak times.

You will work along-side management to successfully organise and lead the hour-to-hour function of designated projects within associated Gobel and Partner areas.

**The Team Leader will be responsible for, but not limited to**:

- Reviewing handover from previous shift and assigning tasks to the Quality Inspectors and Storemen in accordance.
- Ensuring all inspectors have the relevant tooling, material flow, PPE and understanding to work to the required Test Plan / WES.
- Control all NOK parts found during the project, ensuring they are packaging and stacking of parts are correct.
- Supporting the Supervisors with 8D investigations, Level 1 and 5S Audits.
- Working alongside the area supervisor to identify and promptly resolve issues, with mínimal or no effect to production.
- Due to the nature of the position, you will have previous experience in a leadership role, within an Automotive, Manufacturing or Engineering environment.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong work ethic.

**Job type**:Full-time, permanent position.

**Salary**:£28,080.00 - £30,420.00per annum (Dependent on experience).

**Working schedule**:

- Weekly rotational shifts.
- 45 hours per week.
- **Early shift** - 6:00am - 3:00pm.
- **Late shift** - 3:00pm - 11:45pm.
- Weekend overtime available, but not mandatory.
