Freddie's Deli is a new and family-owned restaurant in Belsize Park, NW3, which opened at the start of February, offering high-end New York delicatessen and diner fare.

We specialise in smoked fish, caviar, bagels, home made salt beef, schnitzel, grandma's famous chicken soup, fresh sandwiches, and other legendary appetisers.

We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic part-time or full-time servers to join our team.

We provide free food during shift, as well as regular social events, company pension and bike scheme. The space is light and airy, with around 80-100 covers, front and back outside seating, a herb garden and located close to both Hampstead Heath overground and Belsize Park tube.

We are looking to forge a close-knit team for this new project, and on a practical level, you will primarily be waiting and clearing tables, as well as times being customer-facing on the till, serving salads and sandwiches for take-out. Whilst we will have a dedicated barista, the role may additionally comprise some element of hot and cold drink preparation. We have an alcohol license, so you may also be serving and advising on a range of natural and organic wines, craft beers and more

Most importantly, you will need to be great with people and be able to bring the "hospitality factor"

Expected opening hours are 8am - 11pm, 7 days a week (9am on weekends), and shifts will typically be 8-10 hours, either morning/lunch service (say, 7:30am-3:30pm) or afternoon/evening service.

Training will be provided, however hospitality experience is strongly preferred. Please provide a cover letter and CV, as well as specify whether you are looking for part-time or full-time work.

Pay is £11.50 per hour plus share of service charge and holiday pay.
