We are advertising on behalf of our client, a highly respected local, chartered accountancy firm for an **Accounts Senior** to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team. **The Role**
- Planning, preparing and reviewing accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies from client records.
- Sending final accounts to clients.
- Setting budgets for staff and assisting with accounts completion.
- On job training for junior staff.
- Preparing and reviewing Tax Returns.
- Calculating income tax liabilities and advising clients.
- Preparing and reviewing Corporation Tax Returns, calculating corporation tax liabilities and advising clients.
- Managing client portfolio including billing.
- Preparation of management and financial accounts.
- Production of VAT returns.
- Assisting with coaching and developing junior members of the team.

**About You**
- AAT Qualified**.**:

- At least 1-year PQE or at least 3-4 years working in practice.
- Experience of accounts preparation, business, corporate and ideally personal tax.
- Accounts preparation experience gained from within a fast-paced accountancy practice environment.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Sage, Quickbook or Xero, as well as accounts production software such as CCH.
- Ability to show initiative and work within a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport with people at various levels and form good client relationships.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage own workload exceeding client expectations.
- Previous experience supervising and supporting junior members of staff.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
