Marine Engine Spares

An opportunity has arisen for a full time operative at our industry leading marine engine recycling and dismantling centre near Yeovil. This role will require a self-motivated individual with a “can do” attitude and a hands-on approach. The principal job requirements will be:
Dismantling of used marine engines to component level

Inspection, cleaning and packaging of used parts

Loading parts into the stock management computer system

Once suitable experience has been gained, the role will expand to encompass:
Processing customer orders on an automated system

Packaging outgoing orders and booking transportation

Keeping the yard and warehouse clean and tidy

Assisting with routine stock take

Previous experience working with diesel engines, motor trade or machinery repairs would be preferred, together with a reasonable degree of computer literacy but training on our in-house computer systems will be provided.

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
