Ysbyty Gwynedd Anaesthetic department is looking to recruit a Doctor in Anaesthesia with an interest in education to help deliver the undergraduate simulation teaching programme to 3rd, 4thand 5thyear medical students seconded to the hospital. The successful applicant will be funded to undertake a PGCE and supported with allocated time for teaching and study. The successful applicant will also be required to provide clinical anaesthesia services both in and out of hours and therefore we require at least 6 months anaesthetic experience with an initial assessment of competency or equivalent. This is a temporary post of 12 months duration

This is a full time post with out of hour’s commitments. Remuneration will be commensurate with individuals’ experience. The job plan is negotiable, depending on individual’s interests and service requirements.

On-call rota will be 1 in 8. Annual leave will accrue under standard NHS conditions.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
