**The Team**

The Capital Markets and International Securities team at Norton Rose Fulbright enjoys a leading reputation driven by outstanding expertise in structuring complex financings. We act for corporations and financial institutions on a wide range of capital markets financing work including structured finance, debt capital markets, derivatives and securitisation.

This team is made up of three distinct but connected practice areas: debt capital markets, derivatives and securitisation. The capital markets team advises issuers, lead managers and service providers on a range of debt securities offerings, Euro Medium Term Note Programmes, Euro Commercial Paper, convertible bonds, structured note programmes and private placements.

The securitisation team deals with a broad range of asset-backed financing; asset classes covered include residential mortgages, various types of consumer contracts, commercial property, whole business securitisations, trade receivables, insurance linked securities, aircraft, shipping and utilities receivables, as well as a range of risk transfer instruments.

In the derivatives field, we act for several of our core clients with respect to their entire portfolio of derivative products. In addition the team is an active member of ISDA, the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, and participates in various ISDA working groups.

**The role**

Our Securitisation team is expanding and accordingly there is now an opportunity for an associate with strong experience in structured finance, including securitisation, warehouse financing, covered bonds and repackagings to join our London based team. The individual will work primarily on a combination of new issue transactions, restructurings or modifications of existing transactions for a wide range of clients including large investment banks, specialist lenders, major corporate issuers, commercial banks, alternative fund managers and insurance companies.

**Skills and Experience Required**
- Qualified solicitor in a common-law jurisdiction
- Excellent academic record
- Experience working on securitisation or similar structured finance transactions at a major international Law firm
- Proactive and self-starting individual
- Team player
- Good commercial awareness
