An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Pathology Department at Cwm Taf Morgannwg for full timeMortuary and Bereavement support officers who will be trained to work across the health board sites.

The post-holder will undertake a range of duties and contribute to the efficient and effective running of the mortuary service, working under their own initiative and prioritising their own workload to ensure the smooth running of a very busy service and become an integral member of the team

The applicant should have a good standard of general education and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applicants should be able to demonstrate an attention to detail and an ability to learn new tasks. They will need to have a sound knowledge of a range of Microsoft office packages. An understanding of customer care and meeting the needs of the general public is necessary for this position, therefore an excellent telephone and communication manner will need to be demonstrated
