We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Finance Controller. The successful applicant will report into the Chief Finance Office.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Lead Month-End Processes**: Oversee and manage the monthly cycle of Management Information (MI) production, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- **Preparation of Management Accounts**: Compile and prepare monthly management accounts, including detailed backing schedules to support financial reporting.
- **Cash Management and Forecasting**: Develop and maintain a robust 12-week rolling forecast model, ensuring accurate cash management and forecasting.
- **Auditor Coordination**: Liaise and coordinate with external auditors to facilitate seamless audits and compliance.
- **Balance Sheet Management**: Monitor and manage the balance sheet, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- **Intercompany Accounting and Reconciliations**: Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- **VAT Reporting and Tax Compliance**: Review quarterly VAT reporting for the group of companies and handle Plastic Tax returns in compliance with regulations.
- **Ad Hoc Projects**: Assist the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in various ad hoc projects to support strategic financial initiatives.
- **Team Support**: Collaborate with and support the wider finance team as needed to ensure smooth operations.

**What you need to succeed at Rawlings Group**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional certification (eg. ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- 1 + year post qualification experience.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (eg. Sage 200, Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £30,000.00 per year
