BACKGROUND:
Virtual Recall was set up in 2011 by two vets and has grown from the kitchen table to being acquired by Zoetis, the world’s largest animal health company, in 2020. We help vet practices enhance their customer experience beyond the practice door to improve healthcare compliance and customer loyalty. Our most established service, iRecall, is an automated client communications platform that sends targeted, personalised communications from the vet to their clients. Last year we sent over 32million communications and generated ¾ million client reviews In the UK, OurVet.Shop enables practices to offer their clients the convenience of online shopping and home delivery, whilst reducing dispensing time for the practice team. It’s a completely new concept in the marketplace and we’re super excited to see this service establish itself over the coming months. Our services are used by over 2,200 veterinary practices globally from the UK to Canada, Japan and Australia as well as expanding into other European markets over the course of 2023.

What we do helps improve the health and wellbeing of millions of animals around the world, and we’re looking for an energetic Marketing Assistant to join our mission.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working across our Virtual Recall brands supporting both brand owners across the entire marketing mix, specifically:

- Manage the design, logistics and execution of Virtual Recall’s attendance at external conferences and internal events/meetings.
- Stand design management with agency.
- Sales and marketing literature ordering and logistics.
- Build & breakdown logistics.
- Digital activity pre and post events.
- Attendees & travel logistics.
- Budget responsibilities.
- Management of our marketing asset inventory.
- Involvement in the creation of sales and training materials.
- Supporting sales team and managing interdepartmental communications.
- Reporting on marketing efforts for website, social and advertising analytics.
- Retaining and working alongside 3rd party agencies to support ongoing marketing materials.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

- Good eye for design, and attention to detail.
- Good storytelling and copywriting skills.
- Experience of managing design partners (advertising agency).
- Good Microsoft office suite experience & knowledge.
- CRM and customer communication platforms such as Hubspot or Mailchimp.
- Experience in content creation across social media platforms.
- Desirable but not essential: experience of website platforms (e.g. Wordpress).
- Desirable but not essential: experience of using Adobe package (e.g. Photoshop).

SOFT SKILLS/OTHER:

- Available to attend events country-wide (roughly 1-3 days per event).
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where you’ll handle running several projects at the same time.
- This job is about making things happen, so being able to coordinate different stakeholders and being organised is critical.
- Analytical skills - we won’t be asking you to do rocket science, but you must be comfortable analysing marketing and campaign data.
- Team is very important to us. You’ll have the support of the Virtual Recall marketing team and collaboration across the wider Zoetis business and partner agencies is essential to our success.
- As you’d expect we’re potty about animals, and even have a dog bed in the office for any furry visitors.
- We have adopted a hybrid working approach, but the marketing team comes together in Guildford at least once a week.
