**Main Purpose of Job**:

- Design innovative packaging solutions tailored to meet customer needs efficiently and profitably.

**Main Duties**:

- Create designs, drawings, samples, and pallet layouts adhering to customer and plant specifications.
- Liaise with production to ensure designs align with machine suitability.
- Generate drawings for costing purposes and support Customer Services and External Sales teams with design-related matters.
- Coordinate the introduction of new products and assist with system and procedural improvements.

**Education, Qualifications, and Experience**:

- Interest in packaging and design with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Understanding of FEFCO standards and proficiency in ArtiosCAD, Cape Pack, and the Adobe Suite.
- Experience or knowledge of manufacturing processes in corrugated packaging is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and computer literacy are essential.

**Desired**:

- Comprehensive understanding of corrugated packaging's role in the supply chain.
- Familiarity with Esko Webcenter and experience in performance packaging design.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Excellent oral/written communication and numeracy skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, even under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel when required.
- Optimize the utilization of performance papers and introduce new products/designs that align with customer requirements and manufacturing efficiencies.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of designs for new and existing customers.

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
