We are looking for a Welfare Benefits Casework to work as part of the advice services team at Citizens Advice Rossendale & Hyndburn, providing advice to people who are referred following a cancer diagnosis, their families and carers. The role is funded by Macmillan to provide a high-quality advice and casework service to clients who are experiencing cancer and require advice on welfare benefits, money, housing and employment.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring;
- A high-quality service is maintained
- Excellent client outcomes are achieved and recorded Advice is delivered flexibly depending on need, across the areas of Rossendale, Hyndburn and Ribble Valley through various channels including face to face, telephone, on-line, home visiting and in the community Clients are responded to in a timely manner
- Clients receive the support they need to follow the advice
