Our client, a private equity backed European Clean Energy Platform have recently entered the UK market, acquiring several power generation assets. They are now looking to kickstart their growth in this market and seeking to appoint an Interim Head of Finance to oversee the finance function.

You will partner with the new UK CEO to run the finance function, support M&A activity and oversee asset management.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Financial management of holding companies and project companies
- Reporting into the CEO, this role will cover the day-to-day accounting and monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company including cash management, invoicing of revenue and expenses, budgets, making payments, and other transaction.
- Ensure that core financial processes are carried out efficiently with full use of systems to the standards of a listed company.
- Responsible for the provision of monthly management accounts to the senior management team and Board.
- Manage annual audit process.
- Manage group cash flow support with accurate forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Company secretary activities.
- Manage the annual budget process and within-year forecasts, working closely with relevant teams to ensure that risks to delivery of targets are identified early and that budgetary controls are robust.
- Work with projects team to ensure that capital expenditure is controlled and early identification of risks.
- Provision of information to lenders to meet requirements of loan agreements.
- Management of outsourced payroll for rapidly growing team.

**Ideal Interim Head of **Finance**:

- Qualified Accountant, 7+ years PQE.
- Audit Experience.
- University Degree.
- Relevant Industry experience preferable (Energy, Renewable Power).
- High Numeracy.
- Attention to detail.
- IT Literacy and communication skills.

London, hybrid working. 6-month contract.
