We have an exciting opportunity for a front of house receptionist to work in a lovely modern building in central Bristol. (The building is near to main bus routes at Park Street, Jacobs Wells Road and Anchor Road)

You should be well presented, with proven relevant experience and with the personality and enthusiasm to take ownership of the reception role and additional concierge responsibilities.

**Hours**
- 8.30am - 5.30pm (45 hours per week).
- occasional requirement to start at 7.30am when the Building Manager is on holiday

**Key Responsibilities**:
**The role**

You will provide a front of house reception service, with additional responsibilities, which will include:
**Reception**
- Being the first point of contact - the ‘face of the building’, providing a warm and efficient welcome
- Meeting, greeting and registering all visitors to the building, following appropriate processes
- Ensuring the reception area always looks pristine and welcoming
- Managing deliveries, including couriers and post
- General administration as required
- Develop a good understanding of the local area and update a local amenities information file

**Building management**
- Work closes with the Building Manager who is based at the building and be confident to deputise in his absence (ie opening the building/de-activating alarms)
- Assist with any maintenance or building issues and manage to resolution
- Manage contractors visiting the building to undertake regular maintenance or specific repairs
- Produce a weekly update report for key stakeholders

**Tenant engagement**
- You will research and introduce (when applicable) concierge/ pop ups - aimed at delivering a community vibe and offering activities to increase enjoyment during the working day. This may include negotiating freebies or local discounts with businesses and pop-up activity
- You will develop a weekly newsletter for tenants to communicate such initiatives

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:
**About you**
- Proven experience in a front of house reception role or customer service, marketing or sales environment
- Personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service
- Self-motivated and willing to organise the additional concierge or added value activities as part of the reception role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a competent Microsoft Office / PC systems user
- Enjoy working independently but also as part of the reception job share and alongside the Building Manager
