**DevOps Tooling - Software Engineer (Python)**

**12 month Contract - London**

**Inside IR35 PAYE £700-800 per day**

FPSG has exciting opportunities for high-performing Python Engineers to join an exciting, dynamic team, who focus on enhancing or building next generation DevOps automation routines and tools. The organization can offer a range of diverse, enterprise projects,where the focus is innovation tooling solutions to make development easier and more efficient.

As a Tooling Engineer, you will work with a range of high-end solutions, focused on continuous innovation & development. You will require a blend of advanced Python, and/or Go / GoLang, with knowledge or exposure to Bash, Ansible, Nomad, AirFlow etc.

**As an Engineer your responsibilities will include**:

- Enhancing the existing DevOps tools in place
- Designing, building and delivering the next generation DevOps solutions
- Bringing efficiency to Infrastructure platforms
- Champion the use of automation
- Contributing to computationally complex data intensive problems
- All roles will focus on a core technical stack, but seek engineers who are continually trying to improve, learn new skills, languages development utilities, and techniques as required

**To be a successful Engineer you will need**:

- Advanced Python scripting skills
- Complex BASH Scripting
- Advanced automation build or package experience, Ansible, Puppet, Chef etc
- Exposure, or understanding of tools such as Nomad, Airflow etc

Offices are based in Central London and to ensure collaborative agile approaches circa 2 days a week in the office will be desired. Hence residing or relocating to a commutable distance is required.

**Reward**

This assignment is for 12 months, although likely a 2-year engagement. Day rates are PAYE inside IR35 with a fully paid holiday entitlement, the rate will depend on experience.
