**Salary : £55,000 - £60,000 + package D.O.E**

Our client actively seek an experienced **Site Manager** to take charge of their project, as the primary contractor, in the Bolton region.

You will have experience as a **Site Manager** on new build housing and/or apartment projects, within an urban setting.

You will have the following qualifications:

- Experience as a Site manager working within social housing
- Self-motivated and be able to use their own initiative
- Must have SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications

As a **Site Manager** you will:

- Operate Procore Document Management system
- Manage all Health & Safety processes and matters
- Manage Quality processes and matters
- At all times display behaviour in accordance with expected Values and behaviours
- Ensure that we provide a thoroughly professional approach in all aspects of the construction process
- Establish and maintain an excellent relationship with all stakeholders
- Have control of the long and short-term planning requirements for the Project
- Ensure that key programme dates are achieved on time
- Ensure effective on-site co-ordination of sub-contractors to ensure maximum productivity
- Provide knowledgeable and practical advice on construction detailing and finishes
- Maintain a daily site diary-this should include adequate details of labour resources and operation details, any plant allocations, materials deliveries, details of any accidents and/or incidents plus any other relevant issues.

As an experienced **Site Manager** you will be able to carry out the following tasks:

- Ensure compliance with the Contract Stage Health Safety and Environmental Planning document
- Ensure implementation and compliance of approved RAMS /Safe Systems for all operations on site
- keep records of Site Safety Inductions, Risk Assessment and Safe System of work briefings carried out for all new site operatives
- Toolbox Talks with Site Operatives covering Safety and Environmental issues as necessary

You will also be expected to carry out daily visual checks before work commences on the following:

- Site Scaffold / Site Plant
- Ensure all site operatives wear the necessary PPE
- Permits to work issued when required
- Ensure site has clear access routes to and from the place of work
- Ensure welfare facilities are maintained in a habitable condition
- Ensure storage of materials is in a safe condition i.e. stacking packs of bricks & blocks
- Ensure that distribution of material is carried out safely
- Ensure that the loading out of material does not affect stability of a platform
