**Year 1 Teaching Assistant | Birmingham B18 | September Start**

**Permanent Role Available**

LTF Recruitment are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Teaching Assistant to take their next step into a full-time, long-term role. The school offers a welcoming, friendly learning environment thanks to the collaborations between staff, pupils, and parents.

The role will involve supporting a year 1 classroom, assisting pupils with their work, as well as the teacher in the setup of classroom activities.

**Role responsibilities**:

- Working alongside teaching staff and the senior leadership team to provide support.
- Working with teaching staff to support pupil progress.
- Identifying pupils in need of intervention sessions and delivering sessions to the pupils.
- Work 1:1 with pupils who require additional support.
- Promote and contribute to the school values.
- Hold a TA qualification or relevant degree.
- Hold at least 1 year of Primary school experience.
- Strong knowledge of SEN.
- Able to work to the Primary School curriculum.
- Can build and maintain strong relationships with pupils.
- Can demonstrate reliability - with a good record of attendance and punctuality.
