**Overview**:
The Recovery Motivator role is designed to enable ‘first steps into employment’ it is a good opportunity to build on skills and learn new ones, potentially to move further into this field in Adult social care. The role will be based within Brighton and Hove.

**Responsibilities**:
This is an exciting opportunity for those interested in getting back into paid work and utilising lived experience and skills towards supporting in Adult Social care substance misuse services.

Recovery Motivators are anticipated to be people who are themselves in recovery in respect of drug or alcohol use or people who have experience of living with drug or alcohol misuse within their family, who would like others to benefit from their experience.

Recovery Motivators will work with those who are directly impacted by their own Alcohol Misuse and the people who care for them, family members and friends; as well as working with key partners to empower communities. The main function of the Recovery Motivator role will be supporting clients and group facilitation.

This role will have a client base of supporting clients in post treatment. The role will also include group facilitation and to network within the service and Brighton communities to relevant support agencies. This is a part time role 2 days a week. Tuesday and Wednesdays.
