KITCHEN PORTER

The Two Sawyers in Pett, is a family run Pub, recently under new ownership. Located on the outskirts of Hastings serving excellent food.

We are actively seeking a **Kitchen Porter** to work as part of the kitchen team and assist in maintaining outstanding levels of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen areas to include all working areas and food & beverage crockery, utensils and serving equipment.

Main Responsibilities
- Washing all crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils and equipment, food service equipment.
- Ensuring that the following are kept clean and tidy and to a very high standard:
Floors & Walls.
Bins - inside and out.
Crushing and disposal of cardboard and boxes.
Fridges & Freezers (with assistance of chefs).
Delivery areas
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of working areas
- To be aware of and to adhere to all health and safety, fire, hygiene and COSHH regulations governing the work you are undertaking and to ensure the correct chemicals/detergents are used at all times.
- To carry out any other reasonable request of the Head Chef.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Good communication skills and to be able to work well under pressure.

A professional attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering fantastic experiences to our customers.

40 Hours + per week, with increased hours in busy periods. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Have a driving license or live close by.

Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
