An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paediatric Cancer Multidisciplinary Team Co-Ordinator in the Paediatric Adolescent Haematology Oncology Unit. We are looking for a motivated, organised and enthusiastic team player to join an established team. Training will be provided to support a new starter in this role. The individual will have an eye for detail ensuring accurate data input in line with National Cancer Waiting Times Guidance, Quality Surveillance and COSD.

The role is based within the Paediatric Adolescent Haematology Oncology Research Team which comprises a Team Leader, Research Nurses, Data Managers and a Quality Manager. The post holder will be well supported and full training given.

The post is based in the Children's Hospital at the John Radcliffe in Oxford.

As an integral member of the Paediatric Adolescent Haematology Oncology Multidisciplinary Team the post holder will monitor patient pathway progress, support the achievement of the national cancer targets and work with all members of the MDT to facilitate the delivery of weekly MDT meetings.

Facilitate data collection for diagnosed and suspected cancer patients and enter the information onto appropriate database(s)

Monitor and facilitate the progress of patients on cancer diagnostic/treatment pathways

Provide information to support achievement of the national cancer waiting times targets.

Act as the focal point for the multidisciplinary teams and organise, coordinate and ensure appropriate documentation of the weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings.
