**About the role**
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a **QA/QC Inspector **to join our Major Projects team to work in **Sellafield**.**

**Role Purpose**
- Ensure Safety is the highest priority on the project, with a continued strive towards Zero Harm.
- To ensure that Quality Control for all areas of the BEP project are compliant with the relevant legal requirements, Sellafield Ltd standards, European and British Standards, non-European standards and project procedures.
- To support the Project Managers in adopting a pragmatic approach to Inspection on all phases of the EPCC Project, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning, taking cognizance of schedule and budget constraints.

**What you'll be doing**
As a **QA/QC Inspector**, your main accountabilities will be as follows:

- Advise if duties are not covered by SQEP
- To maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and other project stakeholders
- To identify and act upon opportunities for improvement, from audits, NCR’s and surveillance visits
- Assist with the preparation, implementation and maintenance of the Project Integrated Management System.(IMS)
- Ensure compliance with legislation and any applicable site license conditions
