**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Consider children who have allergies and special dietary requirements and prepare a suitable alternative.
- Consult with the Nursery Manager to prepare a suitably balanced rotating menu.
- Monitoring and recording of all information as required in the CookSafe document
- Ensure high standards of hygiene, health and safety is maintained in the kitchen at all times
- Ensuring the kitchen and equipment is cleaned and maintained to a high standard

**Qualifications and Skills**
**- **hold a Food Hygiene certificate, (training can be provided, if necessary)
- Professional cooking skills are not essential; if you have good home cooking skills, this may be the job for you
