Job Introduction
DAC Beachcroft is looking to appoint a Procurement Intern on a 12 month fixed term contract (FTC) to join our team in Bristol.

We are looking for you to join us in a job of the future. Focusing on all Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) aspects of our supply chain this will be a pivotal role in the delivery of our sustainability programme.

This position will help contribute to the fulfilment of our environmental and societal commitments, employment or integration, while improving economic performance for the business.

Main Responsibilities
- working with and managing stakeholders at all levels within an international law firm.
- Working with the procurement team and key stakeholders to proactively engage and improve sustainability & ESG in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
- Helping design, deliver and monitor process enhancements to embed sustainability in our everyday sourcing and procurement processes incl. implementation of new systems, workflow and reporting
- Helping drive the development of sustainability objectives for inclusion in scorecards as part of supplier selection using metrics and targets based on market methodologies
- Advising on and helping develop associated deployment plans with the procurement team and other stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment of social value and sustainability targets
- Proactively maintaining and developing expertise and awareness of the regulations, legislation, restrictions, controls and certifications that will be placed upon us in our journey
- To participating in specialist topic working groups internally and externally representing the procurement function
- Working with the procurement team and key stakeholders to improve sustainability & ESG in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management
- Collaborating with, and provide training, across the business to drive a step change in the evaluation of suppliers and negotiation of contracts
- Monitoring potential risks and escalate to Head of Procurement and the Practice Risk and Governance team
- Responsibility for vendors' reputational risk assessments and associated reporting
- Managing of collection of our Annual Reporting disclosures
