**Salary**: £9.50 per hour

Hours: 25 hrs per week

The Service: Located in Bacup, Pine House is a ‘New’ 20 bed community facing purpose built hospital for men aged 18 years and above with complex mental health needs due to mental illness and/or acquired brain injury. The service will provide an holistic approach to recovery from mental illness whilst maximising potential and promoting independence.

About the Role:
As a domestic within Pine House it is _'_**essential'**_you have _**COSSH**_ cleaning experince. You will be responsible for ensuring a clean safe environment is provided for our patients, visitors and staff and be an important part of the team that ensures patients in our care feel valued. Duties will include following a daily schedule for cleaning within the hospital, hoovering, dusting, polishing, shampooing carpets, mopping floors and any other duties as required.

**Role Requirements**
- Excellent organisation and housekeeping skills
- Working knowledge of health and safety standards
- Working knowledge of Coshh Regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Physically Fit
- Willing to undertake relevant training as required for the role and service environment

About You

You will have a caring nature and a positive attitude, showing a desire to deliver the best possible standard of domestic service. You will ideally have previous domestic experience and be committed to ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene and appearance. You will be able to demonstrate compassion and empathy in your approach and be a team player but able to work on your own initiative. You will be dependable and flexible to meet the needs of the service.
