**We are hiring**

We are looking for a caring and efficient receptionist who will deliver exceptional customer service.

We are a busy surgery and you will be responsible for juggling, checking in clients who attend the surgery and attending to their needs, whilst answering the telephone. You will also be responsible for some administration work as well as occasionally holding onto a dog or a cat receiving treatment.

We are a small, friendly, close knit team. We are looking for a flexible, team player who loves animals and can work with us in providing exceptional patient and client care.

**As we are a busy surgery, you will need to be efficient and organized with excellent communications skills, a good telephone manner and proficient literacy and computer skills.**

Previous veterinary experience will be favoured but is not essential.

Please note, infection control is important in this environment and you will be expected to keep the waiting room clean if an animal has soiled the waiting room.

You will be expected to work Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 6pm with an hour off for lunch.

In return, you will work with a team of friendly, helpful staff members who pride themselves in giving our best for the animals in our care.

Salary is dependent on experience. We are willing to pay more for someone who has worked in the industry before or has done administration work that has involved responsibility and skill.

Staff discounts are available for your own pet.

No weekend work or out of hours, although you may be asked to cover the occasional Saturday morning if needed.

Free parking available on site.

All staff members wear face masks at work and clients are only allowed into the waiting room. There is a perspex glass divide on reception.
