In the role of Category Manager, you will work with a high degree of autonomy owning a portfolio of supply for engineered products. This role would suit a Senior Buyer who has experience of supporting sourcing for MRO and who would like to develop further sourcing skills and category management skills with a global supply base.

About The Role

You will be a key contributor in the team working with an experienced Category Manager to support the Category plan globally through providing sourcing and category management support across the overall Category for Opex and finished goods and the delivery of procurement best practice initiatives. You will undertake full ownership of a portfolio of supplier spend, overseeing the buying, supplier relationships and performance management with existing suppliers in addition to supporting sourcing supply for new product design..

An ambitious and enthusiastic Senior Buyer/Buyer or Category Manager with the ability to form great relationships with stakeholders to become the _go to expert in procurement_ for spend relating to engineered products. An influence who can deliver great results from suppliers and identify innovative solutions.

What You Can Bring
- Experience of buying engineered/manufactured goods/parts
- Experience in sourcing and delivering contracts with supplier for MRO
- Experience of working with European and Global Suppliers
- A track record of identifying opportunities for and implementing procurement best practice
