**Now let us tell you about the role**:

- All Machine/Yard Operatives to be NPORS trained and qualified to operate machines.
- 360 Operator License
- Loading Shovel Operator License
- To undertake the operation of mobile plant as directed by the site manager.
- To ensure the mobile plant he is operating undergoes an inspection prior to use with any defects or damage reported to the site manager and noted on the daily check sheet.
- To ensure Mobile plant is greased all radiators blown clean of dust, and all oil levels maintained in accordance with company/manufacturers procedures.
- To ensure machine is operated responsibly and only used for the tasks it is designed to carry out.
- To communicate with colleagues to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the facility.
- To read, understand and follow all risk assessments, work procedures and safe systems of work.
- To ensure Mobile plant is washed off at the end of each shift.
- To carry out tasks other than machine operation as requested by management.
- To ensure that all waste streams are sorted in line with management instructions.
- To inform site manager/supervisor of any none conforming items within the waste.
- Keep working area tidy and maintain access to all emergency exits.
- To load outward waste onto vehicles so that it is safe to transport on the public highway.
- To work with other plant operatives to ensure the facility is kept clean and tidy.
