We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Adult Care Worker to join our team. As an Adult Care Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist individuals with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Support individuals in their daily activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance.
- Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Promote a safe and comfortable living environment, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness.
- Observe and report any changes in individuals' physical or mental health to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Ensure adherence to care plans and individualized support requirements.
- Foster a respectful and inclusive atmosphere, promoting independence and choice for individuals.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare professionals and family members, to ensure the holistic well-being of individuals.
- Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance your knowledge and skills.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and colleagues.
- Empathy, patience, and understanding towards individuals requiring care.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, and lifting.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices and infection control measures.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on organizational needs.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting individuals' privacy and dignity.
- Training to be provided for the Adult Care Level 5 Diploma
