**We are looking for a new Full Time Cafe Assistant to join our fantastic team**

Old School Cafe is an independent cafe established 70 years ago in Longcross, Chertsey. We sell our own brand of coffee roasted locally for us by Surrey Hills Coffee and are passionate about the taste and quality. We are also famous in the local area for our classic English fry-ups, lunches, and sandwiches.
- Experienced in front of house cafe or restaurant environments
- A friendly team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
- Eager to push themselves to deliver top class customer service
- Able to work quickly, calmly, and efficiently during busy periods
- Self-motivated to seek out tasks and uphold a clean cafe environment

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Work as part of a close knit team to ensure customers receive a great experience
- Produce fantastic coffees, smoothies, milkshakes, and soft drink orders
- Carry out basic kitchen preparation tasks and take meals to customers
- Maintain and clean café equipment

**Details**
- Our hourly pay rate is based on a combination of age, experience and trial shift performance
- This position is full time (4-5 days per week) and you must be available on at least one day every weekend
- Our standard working hours are 7.30 am to 3.30 pm on weekdays and 8.30 am to 3.30 pm on weekends with a 30 minute break
- You must have your own car as no public transport is available

We are looking for applicants with cafe or restaurant experience to add to our great team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.50-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
