**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for students.
- Provide support to students with special needs, including those with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students who require additional assistance.
- Assist with the preparation and organisation of classroom materials and resources.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.

**Skills**:

- Experience working with older students, particularly those with special needs or autism.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students.
- Knowledge of care and development is a plus.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract

**Salary**: From £13.11 per hour
