**PARTS ASSISTANT / VEHICE DAMAGE ASSESSOR SUPPORT**

**CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Receive goods in, check the parts are correct for the repair and ensure there is no damage.
- Check the invoice and upload it onto the company’s database against the job.
- Locate parts, allocate job numbers, and shelve correctly.
- Manage parts awaiting return and ensure credits are issued.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding any issues (delays, faults etc.) and identify correct replacement parts if required.
- Ensure that the Production Manager is kept up to date with ETAs of parts and any issues are raised accordingly.
- Stock control - maintain and control dry stock.
- Assist with customer service as and when required.
- Taking images of vehicles for the Vehicle Damage Assessor as well as assisting with any other duties.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Ideally have previous experience working in the automotive industry but not necessary.
- Have strong organizational skills.
- Are customer focused and want to provide the best possible service.
