Working alongside one of LTF Recruitment’s partnership schools located in Westminster, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Teaching Assistant seeking employment starting this March. The role is to provide classroom support on a full-time basis within the school’s Reception class, providing general classroom assistance and delivering interventions with small groups of children to help raise their comprehension and attainment. In the afternoon you will be providing 1:1 support to children working below age expected levels, helping them with their classwork and engagement during lessons.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Delivering tailored learning activities and providing learning support to individuals and small groups of children across the EYFS curriculum.
- Engaging, motivating, and encouraging learners.
- Supporting children’s social and emotional development.
- Assisting the Class Teacher in managing behaviour.
- Effectively feeding back.
- Record keeping and administrative tasks, such as preparing resources.
- Creating classroom displays.
- Attending meetings and contributing to the extra-curricular opportunities provided by the school.

**Requirements**:

- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above.
- Recent, successful teaching assistant experience.
- Pro-active, hardworking, and committed to making a positive impact.
