Acacia Care is a small, family-run group of care homes specializing in residential and specialist dementia care. We thrive in knowing we encourage our staff to become the best they can be, but to do this, we need you With a wide variety of people to support, from Management to Care Assistants, we are looking for a highly motivated **Regional Trainer** to coach, advise, guide and support our staff to provide exceptional service to our residents.

Please note, this role will require travel to our Care Homes within the East Midlands so a driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

**What we would like to offer our new Regional Trainer;**
- Competitive salary of up to £26,000 per annum
- Full-time, permanent contract
- 40 hours per week, flexible on working hours depending on the needs of the business

**What your duties may consist of as our new Regional Trainer;**
- Delivery of induction and refresher training to new and existing staff
- Deliver training such as Moving & Handling, the Care Certificate Standards
- Work alongside the Senior Management Team to continually develop and implement training
- Prepare course material and training programmes
- Deliver bespoke training, prepared according to the needs of each individual home and its residents
- Ensure an exceptional service is provided to our staff, acting as the example of how our staff should treat and care for our residents

**What we are ideally seeking in a Regional Trainer;**
- Experience in training, ideally within the social care sector with an understanding of the mandatory modules required
- Have a successful proven track record in designing and delivering training
- Good understanding of CQC requirements and the health and social care framework
- Certification in Moving & Handling, Train the Trainer and Level 3 Award in Training
- A positive, vibrant and patient nature, with the ability to bring the best out of people

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Staff training: 2 years (preferred)
- H&S Care Training: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Level 3 award in Training (preferred)

- United Kingdom (required)
