Chip Shop Supervisor

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise the daily operations of the retail shop
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service
- Train and develop retail associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Set sales targets and monitor performance to achieve sales goals
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Implement visual merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to retail associates
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in retail management or similar supervisory role
- Strong sales management skills with a track record of achieving targets
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Multilingual or bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and other retail software
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and customer service best practices

Pay: From £12.00 per hour

- Every weekend

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
