Head of SEO

Based in Bideford, North Devon, my client is looking for a Head of SEO to join their friendly team.

We are looking for an individual with previous SEO experience, be that in an agency environment, within an in-house marketing team or as a standalone freelancer. The role will encompass the full suite of SEO, from rolling technical audits, implementing low level tech fixes, content planning and a degree of content writing (albeit the majority of this is now outsourced).

The role works across all SEO clients, but working closely with the Head of Digital, the Digital Analyst and the Account Management teams. The role will involve some new business work, from preparing initial SEO audits through to presenting to warm prospects.

They will be friendly and open, keen to teach, as well as learn from others. They will be self-motivated and enjoy working as part of a team, but also able to work as an individual when the task requires.

The right person will be organised, a natural problem solver, numerate and confident in Excel/Google Sheets. They will need to have an analytical mind and be able to provide concise yet incisive post campaign analyses, and then use those learnings to inform future activity. They will be deadline oriented, able to manage under pressure and capable of managing multiple priorities at once when required, whilst always maintaining a keen eye for detail.

This individual will be a confident presenter, capable with clients and warm new business prospects alike. Whilst the MD/DoCS/Account Teams will take the lead in client management and liaison, there will be a need for this individual to play their part on relevant clients/pitches.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per hour
