A**Senior Electronics Engineer** is required for a successful Engineering company in a niche sector. Your duties as Senior Electronics Engineer will include:

- Taking designs from concept and specification, through schematic entry and PCB design, prototyping and validation, development of test procedures and test jigs, to production release.
- Management of external providers including EMC testing etc.
- Support the strategic direction of the electronics department contributing to all areas from supplier choice to part specifications
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring project goals are achieved
- Provide support to manufacturing facility and ensure the design for manufacture of products
- Generate technical documentation including CAD PCB schematics throughout the design process, for internal and external use following current best practices.

You will have experience of electronics design for both Digital and Analogue electronics. Ideally degree qualified but equivalent hands-on experience in Electronics is also equally valued by the company. Training for areas in which have not had exposurewill be provided.

You will be able to, after onboarding be able to work with PLDs / FPGAs, produce embedded design with DSP processors and micro controllers and understand C/C++. Work closely with serial buses and interfacing standards. On the Analogue side you will be ablework with amplifier circuits, design with Analog-to-Digital converters and Digital-to-analogue converters and Control / drive stepper motors and solenoids.

You will thrive in a design lead environment that ensures the manufacturability of cutting edge, innovative products. You will be able to lead electronic design projects and manage members of the team when appropriate through their day-to-day technical responsibilities.

You will be able to make engineering solutions understandable for non-technical team members and clients and act as an ambassador for the company at all teams.
