**The Role**:
Operation FLOW is a new program focused on improving the system across the full patient pathway from avoiding hospital admission through to discharge and beyond.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Ward Administration Support Officer to join our Medical, Surgical & Medicine for Older Adults Teams based at University Hospital Monklands.

The role of Ward Administration Support Officer is to provide a comprehensive administrative service to the medical and nursing teams within the ward
environment, including supporting the ward team and admin tasks associated with discharge of patients.

We have various roles across Medical, Surgical & Medicine for Older Adults wards with flexible working patterns available.

**What we'll need you to bring**:

- Good basic education
- Minimum of two years administrative experience desirable
- Basic understanding of office procedures
- Proficient in use of Software systems
- Good organisational and communication skills

**It would be great if you also have**:

- Educated to Standard Grade
- Experience of Trakcare Patient Management System
- Knowledge of patient management system

**Contract type**:
Fixed Term or Secondment for 6 months.

Full time & Part Time

Various hours

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.

**Location and Working Pattern**:
This role will be based within Medical, Surgical or Medicine for Older Adults Directorate at University Hospital Monklands.

The working pattern for this role will be across Saturday & Sunday dayshift & backshift.
