Job description

**Fixed term for 2 years, 37 hours per week**

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced University of Huddersfield administrator who likes working on a variety of tasks and projects? Do you have excellent organisational skills and enjoy improving processes or systems?

We are looking for a confident self-starter to provide executive business and administrative support for strategic partnerships across the University.

If you have excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills, enjoy taking ownership and using your initiative, this could be an ideal opportunity for you.

In this role you will:

- independently manage and support projects associated with the work of strategic partnerships across the University;
- act as an effective interface between the project management team, strategic partners and students, dealing with a wide range of enquiries, developing and maintaining strong working relationships for effective working arrangements;
- act as an interface between the International Office, Research, Innovation and Knowledge Exchange and the project management team;
- undertake research on issues pertinent to the work of strategic partnerships team
- interpret requirements, analyse information and collate material for inclusion in reports, spreadsheets and presentations based on a general brief;
- assist in the preparation of reports, documentation and presentations. To prepare briefing notes and summaries as required;
- take a lead on planning and prioritising activities to ensure that deadlines for action are met, monitoring deadlines and prompting action as required;
- organise and support large-scale meetings and events and co-ordinate associated arrangements;
- Plan and schedule complex national and international travel, making best use of time/resources, and where necessary providing briefing documents for the project team

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

- Significant and recent experience of working in a similar role
- Recent evidence of having identified, developed and implemented system/process/service improvements;
- Recent experience of providing professional, customer-focused advice and guidance for a range of stakeholders;
- Proven organisational skills, able to manage several projects and deliver confidently to deadlines;
- Previous experience of providing executive business support
