The New Surgery in Brentwood is looking for an experienced medical receptionist to join our friendly team in providing a high standard of service to our patients.

Hours/days to be discussed prior to interview. Our opening hours are 8am - 6.30pm. holiday and sickness cover may also be required from time to time

The receptionist will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties will include:

- Greeting and directing patients,
- Effective use of the appointment system
- Booking appointments
- Processing of information
- Assisting patients as required.

We are looking for a receptionist to join our busy practice team and help make a positive impact on our local community.

Responding to the needs of a diverse population, with the ability to work under pressure, the post requires initiative, enthusiasm and empathy with patients. You will need to be a team player, to have excellent communication skills, to be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, and to be confident in dealing with a wide variety of tasks.

Experience of general practice, and knowledge of SystmOne would be advantageous but full training will be given.

**About Us**: We are a busy practice with 13,800 patients. We have a ‘Good’ CQC rating. We are in a good location near to Brentwood High Street, with parking available for staff.
