**Our Aims**

We are a solicitors’ practice and we would like to ensure a high standard of appearance and cleanliness at our office facilities to ensure staff and clients enjoy a clean and safe environment.

This role is designed to take responsibility for the daily cleaning of our Tonbridge Office although cover may be required at the other firms’ offices as necessary, including providing sickness and holiday cover.

**We require a Facilities Cleaner**
- who can deliver a high standard of cleanliness
- is reliable and flexible over working hours if required
- who has a DBS certificate (one will be required if you don’t have one)

**Objectives will include**:

- punctuality and good attendance record
- positive feedback from staff and clients regarding the standard of the office facilities
- no complaints from staff regarding cleanliness standards

**You will provide a high level of support including**:

- ensuring that staff and clients receive an efficient, friendly, and consistent service and our facilities are at the highest levels of cleanliness
- notifying the Facilities Manager when supplies are running low so they can be re-ordered
- ensuring any equipment faults, failure or maintenance issues are identified and reported to the Facilities Manager as soon as discovered
- sharing information and working effectively with team members to establish and support a positive working relationship and team environment

**You will be responsible for **
- Cleanliness of the facilities
- polishing glass, mirrors and doors
- emptying rubbish and recycling from bins and transferring to external bins
- ensuring confidential waste is disposed of in the correct bins
- dusting, damp wiping, washing or polishing furniture, ledges, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, shelves and fixtures
- mopping floors and hoovering carpets to ensure floors are clean
- ensuring sufficient stock of clean and ironed tablecloths
- watering plants
- cleaning bathrooms and kitchens including toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks and showers, taps, tiles, splashbacks and doors, cookers, microwaves and fridges
- refilling toilet paper and paper towel dispensers in all cubicles and bathrooms
- carrying out special or deep cleaning projects
- undertaking training relevant to your role
- attending and actively participating in team meetings

**You will report to**
the Facilities Manager, who will be your line manager

The hours will be from 5:30pm to 8:30pm Monday to Friday.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: £10.00 per hour
