Sharp has an excellent new opportunity for a **Bid Specialist**

Working closely with the Bid Manager, you will create bespoke responses to Tenders, RFIs and PQQs. You will be leading the bid process for the customer and the associated Sharp sales team, managing the entire workstream from beginning to end.
You will be involved in all aspects of the preparation and production of bid responses and be required to review, edit and tailor previously written content as necessary.

**Responsibilities**
- Effectively project manage the creation and completion of bids, within business timescales.
- Qualify bid opportunities and provide an initial analysis/proposal.
- Bring together content, pricing & supplementary information to create and write bespoke responses in line with tender specifications.
- Accurately complete bid documents in line with customer and company requirements
- Assist in creating template responses for the sales teams.
- Support cross functional departments to ensure knowledge base is up to date and that accurate information is supplied in proposals.
- Maintain close working and professional relationships with other members of the Bid Team
- Collaborate with and use the support available from other departments to enhance the value of all proposals e.g., Marketing, Service Delivery, Product Management, Sales, etc.

**Personal Specification**
- Experience in working within a Bid team or commercial function.
- Proven track record in bid writing and a thorough appreciation of the tender process.
- Ideally from a Technology background such as IT, print, visual solutions, or the document industry.
- Confident writer who can take raw information and create engaging, relevant, and compelling written content.
- High level of working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- A good communicator, able to quickly build effective relationships.
- Confident in dealing with people at all levels, including senior management.
- Keen eye for detail and desire to continuously improve standards.
- Resilient under pressure and capable of managing deadlines whilst retaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Has a positive can-do attitude with a proactive & practical approach.
- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent time management ability
