Job Title: CPCS Slinger Signaller A40

Location: Somerset

**Salary**: £ 25.00 per hour basic +

MCG Construction is currently recruiting for **CPCS Slinger Signaller A40** to join a prestigious project on a full-time basis in **Somerset**.

As a Slinger, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently directing the movement of materials and equipment on the job site.

**Responsibilities**:

- Inspect and prepare lifting equipment before use
- Direct the movement of materials and equipment using hand signals, radios or other communication devices
- Ensure that loads are properly secured and balanced before lifting
- Observe and comply with all health and safety regulations and procedures
- Keep accurate records of all lifting operations
- Liaise with other team members to ensure the safe and efficient completion of the project

**Requirements**:

- ** Valid CPCS (A40) Slinger card**:

- Proven experience as a Slinger on construction sites
- Strong knowledge of lifting equipment and rigging techniques
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures + **health & safety operatives test**:

- Physical fitness and ability to work in all weather conditions
- Good time keeping
