**Salary**: Negotiable £32,000 - £34,000 (Depending on experience)
Location: Teesside
Hours: Office Hours, Monday to Friday

INDUSTRO Engineering Group is forward-thinking and dynamic group of companies operating out of it’s strategically located offices and workshop facilities in Teesside. Working both locally and nationally, we support some of the most significant infrastructure projects in the UK with our in-house core engineering disciplines.

**Role**:

- Produce tenders from concept/full scopes, engineers’ drawings, site visits and design sketches
- Assist in analytical cost estimates, tenders and programmes, from receipt of enquiry to tender sign off/submission on a variety of bespoke fabrication/project projects.
- Assisting the team in placing material/equipment orders (sections, profiles, fixings etc)
- Provide full project costings and breakdowns
- Identify areas of value engineering and cost savings
- Creation of quotations, proposals, programmes and RFQ responses
- Assisting in building up and submission of PQQs.
- Liaise with various engineering departments (in-house Design/operations & customer facing)
- Identifying labour, material, and time requirements to feed into the labour/manufacturing schedule
- Producing estimating statistics and reports as directed by management.
- Liaising with subcontractors and obtaining prices for specialist services such machining, cladding etc

**Requirements**:

- Must come from the structural steelwork industry
- Have a broad range of steelwork experience and knowledge across a wide range of steelwork structures and fabrications (both shop & site).
- Good working knowledge of standard forms of measurement i.e BoQ’s
- Previous experience in a similar role
- The ability to read engineering drawings for Material take-offs is essential
- A background and understanding of the steelwork fabrication industry and the processes involved in the industry are essential

- Full time position - Monday to Friday 07:30am to 16:00pm (12pm finish on Friday)
