**Credit Controller**
include courtesy calls, to ensure all is well, and the client has no unresolved queries or disputes prior to the invoice due date.
- Responsible for managing a significant client debtor portfolio in both volume and value
- Escalating any risks or significant queries / issues to the Credit Control Team Leader, with suggestions for further action
- Analysing and reconciling large volumes of data to understand which transactions are in query or overdue
- Documenting any queries within the system and maintaining the progression of those queries
- Building strong relationships and improving interactions with customers to strengthen key relationships
- Building strong relationships with colleagues in credit control and across the wider finance team
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure issues are dealt with appropriately and efficiently
- Adhere to the organisation’s policy and procedures on information security and take whatever actions are required to safeguard data and assets
- Bringing ideas and suggestions to the attention of the Credit Control Team Leader, to improve processes / procedures, including system
enhancements and any changes to routine that will benefit the team
- Additional Duties as required
**Essential**
- Computer literate with experience of Microsoft office.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to follow instructions.
- The ability to work within a team environment to achieve team/department objectives
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Very high attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel - creating and maintaining documents
