Job Description Front of House Staff

We are currently looking for team members to be part of the Food & Beverage Team.

Rushton Hall is a Grade I listed country house hotel in Kettering. We have been awarded 4 red stars and 3 rosettes by the AA, and strive to create and exquisite experience for our guests.

Our venue specialises in high quality food and service, accommodating breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and private functions, weddings and conferences. For dining experiences we offer our Brasserie restaurant as well as our Fine Dining Tresham Restaurant, which boasts 3 rosettes and offer the highest quality of service. You will be trained in all areas of the FOH operations so no 2 days will be the same.

This is a varied position in which no two days will be the same.

Our FOH staff must:
Have previous experience in a similar role

Be 16 years and over

Be polite and professional

Have excellent communication skills

Be able to work effectively as part of a team

Be eligible to work in the UK

Part Time hours are also available. Please note that the above salary is based on 40 hours per week. Shifts will vary week to week, but can include breakfast shifts starting at 06:30am, as well as some shifts working late up to around 01:00am. Shifts will also include working weekends.

Due to the rural location and some early starts or late finishes this job will fall outside of public transport times, please consider this before applying. £11.44 is the wage for over 23 and hourly rate will differ for under 23.
